Joann grew up dancing since the age of 10. She had extensive dance training for over 20 years in hip hop, jazz and ballet. In 2008, she found Bikram yoga and has been practicing since then. Joann was first introduced to barre classes in 2009 while on vacation in California and fell in love with empowering exercises. She eventually began teaching at various studios in the Chicago area. After 2 years of teaching barre, she also started teaching yoga, aerial fitness and high impact cardio classes. While all exercises are different, they all have a common theme. In her classes, you can expect to feel stronger in the body and the mind and discover the most important benefit of all - love. Love who you are, what you can do, and look forward to what's to come.
